The 2025 OABEST Expo will occur today at Octorara Area High School from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Expo was created in 2013 to celebrate the wonderful algriculture found within the borders of our school district and to highlight our proud history of Agriculture Education in our school. OABEST has grown to celebrate all 12 of our CTE programs teaching 21st century skills that make our OACTEP students competitive in todayâs job market and, if students choose, preparing them for 2 year and 4 year post secondary education opportunities. In addition to our programs. The OABEST Expo has grown to incorporate the community as a whole to highlight the many different educational opportunties available throughout the school district and community along with food trucks, libraries, and vendors located within the school district.
Please join us today for a day filled with fun and celebration! Today will be a great day!

James Stoltzfus was a guest presenter with the CTE program this week. A machinist and welder for Delta Airlines for the past 38 years, James talked with our students about the need for skilled workers in the trades and the value of the learning that takes place in Octorara's CTE programs. Delta Airlines has several secured patents as the result of James' work and he currently works in a shop focused on solving problems where there is no clear or known solution, but Delta needs to solve. He harnesses all of his years of experience to develop those solutions.
