At Octorara Area High School, learning goes beyond the classroom. Students have the opportunity to explore their interests and build their futures through 12 career and technical education (CTE) programs alongside a strong academic foundation and diverse electives.
These hands-on programs allow students to earn industry certifications and develop real-world skills before graduation, preparing them for success in college, the workforce, or both. Whether pursuing a two or four-year degree or entering a career directly, Octorara students graduate ready for what comes next.
Octorara stands out as one of the few high schools in Pennsylvania—and the only one in Chester County—to offer such a comprehensive range of CTE programs. Through partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, students gain access to internships, apprenticeships, and job shadowing experiences that connect learning to real-life opportunities.
This forward-thinking approach reflects Octorara’s dedication to preparing students for success in an ever-changing world.
