    Bills will be mailed out on/around July 1, 2018
     2% discounted amounts are due on/before 8/31/18
    Face amounts are due on/before 10/31/18
    Amounts paid after 10/31/18 will include a 10% penalty

    **Payments postmarked by the due dates above will be accepted**


    All unpaid taxes after December 31st, 2018 will be sent to your County’s Tax Claim Bureau.
    Any payments after that time should be made directly to them.


    2018-19 Octorara School Tax Bill Millage Rates:
    Chester County - 39.94
    Lancaster County - 25.35 


    A written request must be submitted.  Cost of a certification is $15 for mailed certifications and $25 for faxed/emailed certifications; checks should be made payable to the Octorara Area School District.  Requests can be mailed in or faxed to 610-593-6425 attn: Ashley, with a copy of the check for certification fees.

    Duplicate tax bills are available for a fee of $15 if mailed and $25 if faxed/emailed.

    TAX PAYMENT DUE DATES (2018-19):
    Payments made at discount must be sent in by August 31st, 2018.  The face amount is due by October 31, 2018.  Penalty amounts are due by December 31, 2018.  Installment payments are due August 31, October 1, and October 31.  Please note that no discount is available with the installment payment option.  Postmarked dates ARE accepted.  

    Any bills unpaid after December 31, 2018 will be sent to your county's Tax Claim Bureau for collections.
