    Regular office hours are 7:30am to 4pm Monday through Friday.
     
     
     

    Winter Break:

    Our office will close for Winter break at 1:00pm on Friday, December 22, 2017. 
    We will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 7:30am. 
    Tax payments with an original bill can be made at the Fulton Bank branches listed on your tax bill on or before January 2, 2018. 
    Payments without the original bill AND/OR with the reminder notice can be mailed to the address above.

     

    **Payments postmarked by January 2, 2018 will be accepted**

     

    All unpaid taxes after Jan. 2, 2018 will be sent to the County’s Tax Claim Bureau.
    Any payments after that time should be made directly to them.

     

     

     

    2017-18 Octorara School Tax Bill Millage Rates:
    Chester County - 39.49
    Lancaster County - 29.45 

     

    TAX CERTIFICATIONS:
    A written request must be submitted.  Cost of a certification is $15 for mailed certifications and $25 for faxed/emailed certifications; checks should be made payable to the Octorara Area School District.  Requests can be mailed in or faxed to 610-593-6425 attn: Ashley, with a copy of the check for certification fees.
     

    DUPLICATE TAX BILLS:
    Duplicate tax bills are available for a fee of $15 if mailed and $25 if faxed/emailed.

    TAX PAYMENT DUE DATES (2017-2018):
    Payments made at discount must be sent in by August 31st, 2017.  The face amount is due by October 31, 2017.  Penalty amounts are due by January 2nd, 2018.  Installment payments are due August 31, October 2, and October 31.  Please note that no discount is available with the installment payment option.  Postmarked dates ARE accepted.  

    Any bills unpaid after January 2nd, 2018 will be sent to your county's Tax Claim Bureau for collections.
