What is the Intervention Specialist?

The purpose of the Intervention Specialist is to help students be more successful in school. The Intervention Specialist coordinates with the child’s Classroom Teacher, Reading Specialist, Guidance Counselor, Principal, and Parent to support student success.

The Intervention Specialist assists classroom teachers and parents in planning and implementing strategies designed to help students who are experiencing academic and/or behavioral difficulties.
